Job Description
Mission Nexum is looking for a Cloud DevOps Engineer to automate software and infrastructure delivery across cloud and hybrid environments. The role focuses on repeatable deployments, platform reliability, observability, security and fast recovery from failure. What you will do - Build and maintain controlled CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI, Jenkins or equivalent workflows - Provision infrastructure through Terraform, Ansible and reusable infrastructure-as-code modules - Operate containerized services and Kubernetes platforms across Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure and AWS - Implement monitoring, logging, tracing and alerting with Prometheus, Grafana and OpenTelemetry - Apply IAM, secrets management, network and supply-chain security controls throughout delivery - Define runbooks, service indicators, recovery procedures and operational readiness checks - Investigate incidents and recurring failure modes, automate preventive actions and improve resilience - Create self-service delivery patterns with clear guardrails for application, data, ML and AI teams This job posting is addressed to both genders, in compliance with laws 903/77 and 125/91 on equal treatment in the workplace and against gender discrimination. How AI supports the role
Use approved AI tools to draft and review infrastructure code and pipelines, query telemetry, correlate incident evidence, generate tests and maintain runbooks. Suggested commands, configurations and root-cause hypotheses are verified against the real environment. Production-impacting changes require human approval and controlled automation.
Tool choices vary by project. AI-assisted work remains subject to human review, security controls and documented validation.
